Award-Winning Video Production Services

Mike Walter

Walter Media was launched in 2009, during the height of a recession. It takes belief in your mission and commitment to make your company successful during a down economy.

You also need to gain the trust of clients. We have.

Our clients know that Walter Media delivers. Our team has amassed more than two dozen Emmy's, and a host of other awards. Our clients have come to realize that Walter Media provides a hard working, creative team who act as partners to tell their story. Our clients also know, the product we deliver will always meet or exceed their expectations.

In our first year in business we released the highly acclaimed documentary Breaking News, Breaking Down. The film has won 8 awards worldwide so far, and has been embraced by audiences in five different countries.

Breaking News, Breaking Down breaks new ground as it's one of the first films to acknowledge that PTSD can and does affect journalists, and closely examines how the story can get to the storyteller. It has won glowing reviews from Coast to Coast from the Washington Times to the Los Angeles Times.

While the film was drawing audiences worldwide, Walter Media continued its mission by going out and telling the important stories of non-profits from the East to the West. In one short year, our work for the National Rehabilitation Hospital and the Foundation for California Community Colleges quickly earned the company four Telly awards. The awards are handed out each year to honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web.

Our work for the Michigan Victim's Alliance earned the organization a coveted Freddie Award in the category of psychiatry. The International Health & Medical Media Awards is the pre-eminent international health and medical media competition. The impressive status of this award is highlighted by the fact that other winners the night of the awards ceremony included media "heavyweights" CNN, Discovery, and HBO.

Other clients range from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights, to the Foundation for California Community Colleges, the Capitol Area Food Bank, and the Alliance for Plasma Therapies.

In addition, we've partnered with the Glover Park Group, and Wexler & Walker to help their clients with video production needs. These clients have ranged from the Compete Coalition to OxFam International.

In addition our Film Division continues to work on compelling documentaries. We have two films in various stages of production, including Dying for Help.

We are also examining wind energy. With the industry exploding we travel to four states, Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Hawaii to demonstrate the impact wind is having on these communities. There is a war of words over wind. It has pitted neighbor against neighbor, and in some cases relative against relative. Some people have stopped going to church on Sunday because they might bump into an old friend who has because a new enemy because of industrial wind development.
